Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy is a therapeutic approach originally designed to help the brain process traumatic events and alleviate symptoms related to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). EMDR is not a talk therapy, and instead involves the clinician guiding the client through reprocessing distressing memories, events, or material. In addition to being an effective treatment for PTSD, EMDR can also help with the following distressing conditions:

  • Panic Attacks

  • Anxiety

  • Complicated grief

  • Addictions

  • Pain disorders
